Sara and Perry’s wedding was a joy to shoot and one I will certainly look back on with fondness in the years to come.

When I arrived in the morning, it looked like Sara was wrapped up in a bundle of love surrounded by her family all laughing and smiling. This wonderful wedding had all the ingredients to help me produce a picture story that centred around close family and friends.

Being at Hedingham Castle in Essex was an added bonus too. As a documentary wedding photographer you can’t help but feel that the aesthetics and surroundings of this beautiful venue are truly breathtaking. They definitely helped inspire the picture making.

I love looking back at these memories. From watching Perry wait for Sara before she walked down the aisle to the way they were with each other throughout the ceremony, I love the way the natural pictures make me feel.

I also remember this day as the one with the speeches that had everyone in tears of laughter and as the one where a wonderfully emotional first dance followed shortly after.
