What is wedding photojournalism?Wedding photojournalism is telling the story of a wedding through discreet photographic coverage with no interference or direction from the photographer.
Wedding photojournalists won’t ask you to pose, and they won’t take you away from your guests for hours during the reception to capture more traditional, posed wedding photos.
Photojournalism, a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presentation) that employs images in order to tell a story…I offer a completely hands-off approach during a wedding day. I have no impact on the schedule or the narrative. The final image is a genuine, un-interfered, depiction of a moment.
My hands-off approach focuses on letting couples and guests relax, forget the photographer is even there and simply go about enjoying themselves. I work really hard to build up a great rapport with you and guests alike so that I can get in close and catch those brilliant funny and touching moments that make a wedding so special.
My job as a photojournalist wedding photographer is to be the observer on the day, looking out for those special little moments and to capture the wow ones when they happen.
