Essex is a beautiful place to escape to and is the perfect rural retreat for a bespoke wedding - close enough to London but far enough away to enjoy peace and tranquillity, a world away from traffic, noise and busyness.

From Quendon Hall's grounds to the mile-long lake at Gosfield Hall, Essex makes for the perfect wedding location and is undoubtedly a contender compared to nearby counties such as Buckinghamshire or Kent.

Essex wedding photographs … that tell your story

As a reportage wedding photographer I specialise in the art of storytelling through images.

You won't be made to participate in awkward, staged photographs. You will be allowed to let the day flow naturally, enjoy each moment and let me take care of the rest. Telling stories through skilfully captured photographs is what I do best.

I also capture the atmosphere in my documentary wedding photography (aka photojournalism) - a simple approach that ensures my portraits and images in general are rich in context.

What to expect on your Essex wedding day?

I will not be 'the wedding photographer' in a traditional sense. I will rather blend into the surroundings, anticipate the right moment and capture images just at the right time.
