We have now witnessed John's magic at work in two of our children's weddings, and on both occasions he proved himself a master of his profession. Just as he promised, he was discreet and utterly respectful of the nature of the event, but sudceeded in capturing the range of experiences and emotions at both weddings with breathtaking skill. The pictures he produced are technically superb, but above all they are beautiful and authentic, with a natural ease and grace that renders them deeply satisfying.
His eye for composition is matched by his talent in compiling and editing video recordings which mix still images with music and excerpts from wedding speeches. Like a great film, you can watch these little masterpieces over and over again, always discovering new treats.
John was a delight to meet and talk with, and I could not recommend him more highly!

John was our wedding photographer in October 2015 and shot our wedding beautifully. John was friendly, thoughtful and professional throughout the entire process. He is a really personable guy who was passionate about ensuring we had the best day and capturing those special moments.
Both myself and my wife are not the most photogenic people and John really understood our needs and absolutely delivered the best experience for us. The photos he took were stunning, beautiful and captured the essence of the day perfectly. We are delighted with the outcome! Our guests were also blown away by how friendly and genuine John was on the day and all commented on how unobtrusive his style was and how much of a pleasant guy he is.
The contact before and after our wedding was first class and the show reel he produced for us was unbelievable beautiful and reduced everyone to tears that we have shown it to. Our album was also constructed beautifully and a very high quality finish.
I would highly recommend John to anyone and will absolutely use him again for our special occasions. John is one of those rare people who you actually connect with and really understands how to capture your special day, top guy!

Booking John Lennie as our wedding photographer has to be up there with one of the best decisions we made in the organisation of our wedding. From the very beginning, he showed an interest in who we are as people and what we genuinely wanted from our wedding photos. It was refreshing to see a photographer passionate about capturing natural moments between people, wanting to portray the authenticity of a relationship rather than a posed, projection of a relationship. As you can see from John Lennie’s work, not only does he manage to capture rare snippets of moments between people at a wedding, but he also does this with such style and sensitivity - making these moments come alive!
We couldn’t have been more pleased with our photographer - having a photo-shy family, it was important for us that people weren’t fazed by the photographer at our wedding, and they certainly weren’t due to John Lennie craftily blending in with the guests. However, this did not compromise the quality of the photos - all of which are beautifully captured. It is great to look back on our wedding day and see the genuine happiness in our guests’ faces and the little moments we may have missed if it wasn’t for John Lennie being constantly aware of what was going on around him.
The photos are emotive, authentic and simply beautiful. Ourselves, friends and family have all been shocked at the quality of them!

John provided us with the ultimate photography service. We met him, he listened to what we wanted, he cared, and most importantly he just got it! He understood exactly what we wanted, and he took the time to make sure he would deliver the type of shots we were looking for. Both my wife and I had been widowed and so our wedding day was full of many emotions. John captured all that in his pictures, and what was very impressive, you wouldn't have known he was there. He got on with his job without any fuss.
The most telling part of John's work is when we look at the photos he took (and we do often) we are immediately transported straight back in time to the day. Magical! Thank you John

Choosing a wedding photographer is no easy challenge however, we knew that we wanted natural photos and after meeting John and instantly clicking, we knew that he would be perfect for our day. We were not wrong…
John was a pleasure to have at our wedding - most of the time you did not know he was there but those who did notice him had nothing but kind words to say! As for the photos, we were blown away. John has a fantastic ability to capture those special 'moments' and the atmosphere of the day, that make you want to relive it over and over again.
As for the Still Film - we are so pleased to have added this in at the last minute. We love the photos, but seeing them stitched together to music, with parts of the vows and speeches over the top is something we will truly treasure forever. It gets better each time we watch it and there is never a dry eye in the house!

Having spent a long time going through various portfolios, John's stood out to us given his particular approach to natural, in the moment photographs. Our wedding was in August and upon receiving our album, what can I say, it is beautiful. John has a gift with capturing the moments that matter on the day, working tirelessly throughout and mingling with the guests, whilst remaining professional allowed for a very comfortable atmosphere and incredible shots. We couldn't be happier for choosing him to have such an important role in our wedding and would highly recommend John to anyone

John was our wedding photographer in September 2015. From the first meeting to view John's portfolio, through the build up, the big day itself and on to the production of the album, it was a pleasure working with John throughout.
John is thoroughly nice guy, who showed a genuine interest in our family. You can see in the photos of our day that it's really people and their interactions that interests John. Our pictures really capture the feeling of the day - hard to explain - but in flipping through the album you are transported back.
Technically the shots are immaculate and interestingly, John shoots with smaller range-finder style cameras - much less intrusive than a big DSLR with super zoom. Most guests had no idea he was the official photographer.
Would highly recommend. Thanks John and all the best for the future.
