Set within 45 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside, Parkside School is still an active school, but also operates as an incredible wedding venue. The stunning Grade II listed manor house has a rich history, and its Georgian appearance was completed by 1745.
This included the creation of the beautiful Palladian Salon. It was later accompanied by the Italianesque Loggia, which was designed and built by the architect of Buckingham Palace, Sir Aston Webb. He also completed the Baroque front porch in 1911.
Amazingly, Queen Elizabeth I visited the site in 1590 and again in 1601 when she knighted the owner, Thomas Vincent, in the oak parlour. The oak panelling and ceiling decorated with doves in this room still remain today, and it now acts as the school office.
Although an active school, this venue feels exclusive and grand in every way. From the period features and stunning architecture to the landscaped grounds and far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside, its picturesque setting is perfect for any wedding day.
Whether you choose to get married outside in the grounds or inside the historical manor house, you can be certain of stunning ceremony photographs.
